Dear subscribers,
Ukraine Rebuild Newswire benefits greatly from reader cooperation. It helps us fulfil our mission to cover the reconstruction of Ukraine from as many angles as possible.
So, we're offering a one-month free trial subscription to URN Daily to anybody watching or participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine. If you are a free subscriber (ie, if you can't read the sections of the newsletter further down) feel free to request a full month of Premium. You can also pass this offer on to friends and colleagues - if they sign up for a free subscription on our website, they can qualify for a 1-month trial. No credit card needed - just an email address.
You can also send an email to adam.brown@ukrainerebuildnews.com, to request the free trial for you or your workplace.
We'd also like to point out ways readers can get information on ideas, projects and other information featured in the URN Daily news package:
1 - If you would like to speak to us about any topic related to the reconstruction of Ukraine, please email us at info@ukrainerebuildnews.com.
Your information may make the hard news section, which we call Just the Facts. Interesting snippets of the conversation that don't quite fit into a news story may also appear in The Reporter's Notepad, the top section you're reading right now.
2 - If you personally write an op-ed piece for other media, or simply find somebody else's opinion piece particularly interesting, send us a link. We may feature it in Here's What They Think, our section dedicated to opinion pieces from around the world.
3 - Similarly, if you're an academic, scientist, researcher, pollster or other brand of deep thinker, please send us a link to your new research. We may feature it in The Sober Second Thought, which every day covers a new piece of research related, in some way, to the reconstruction of Ukraine.
4 - The most popular option for contributions is The Rebuilders' Social, where we publish short summaries of social media posts on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Telegram, and even YouTube. We will also consider links to personal blogs, Substack articles and similar items. Just email us a link.
We publish only a few items so we have to be very picky. Any item has to be no more than 24 hours old, it must be related to the reconstruction of Ukraine, and it needs some element of news. And it must refer to solid facts - no posts that are strictly personal opinion, unless it's by a public figure whose opinions make headlines (and even then we probably won't use it in The Rebuilders' Social).*
*Also, no conspiracy theory - anywhere in the newsletter. How do we define "conspiracy theory." By our definition, we would never run the following headlines:
- Zelensky drafts secret plan to turn Canada into the 25th oblast
- Taking the 'New' out of New Mexico: Ukraine in talks with Greenland to give southern United States to Mexico
- Ukraine enacts 0.0% tariff on imports of nonsense ideas
Have a Happy Thursday! - The URN team
And now, on with the real news ...
