The Ukrainian construction company Integral-Bud will by the end of the year launch two projects occupying a combined 190,000 square meters in the capital of Kyiv, Intergal-Bud's commercial director Anna Laevska said in an interview with Interfax, published Monday.
The projects include the second phase of the Yaskravy development and a new project on Prychalna Street on Kyiv's left bank, Laevska said.
The Yaskravy project will include the reconstruction of a shopping center on Poliarna Street, with the addition of a residential component, a modern shopping gallery, and a multi-level parking structure.
The project will cover around 50,000 square meters of residential space. The construction is planned to start this month. Laevska also announced the arrival of a McDonald's at the location, with a preliminary lease agreement already signed.
The Prychalna project includes the development of a residential complex occupying 140,000 square meters, including parking.
Laevska noted that Integral-Bud has resumed construction of all projects in Ukraine that were halted after the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022, except for in one area.
"The only region where construction has not yet been resumed is Odesa," Laevska stated. "Given the current situation, we consider it dangerous for contractors to enter our two sites. We did not open sales, we have no obligations to buyers. We are waiting for the stabilization of the situation in the city, we will definitely restore it."
