Ukraine to receive $1.4 billion in new military aid from the US and Germany

US President Joe Biden's administration has announced a military aid package of $725 million for Ukraine, the US Department of Defense (DoD) said in a press release.

The Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package is the 71st tranche of equipment provided for Ukraine from DoD inventories since August 2021, according to the statement.
