Ukraine received a €4.2 billion transfer under the European Union's €50 billion Ukraine Facility package of grants and loans aimed at helping rebuild the country, Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said.

The payment comes after Ukraine met nine conditions for the payment, including digitizing the customs service, reform of public investments, cracking down on corruption, improving corporate governance for state-owned companies, the adoption of a 10-year mine clearance strategy and plan for thermal build upgrades by 2050, and more.
