Ukraine's state-owned lender Oschadbank said it has concluded a €9.6 million investment loan agreement with Ukraine-headquartered international energy group KNESS to finance and refinance the construction of 30 MW of energy storage facilities.
The project involves building and integrating energy storage facilities into the power grid to supply a 25 MW frequency support reserve and a 5 MW automatic frequency restoration reserve for balanced loading and unloading within the ancillary services market.
