European officials are pushing the new US administration under President Donald Trump to commit to security guarantees for Ukraine amid diplomatic efforts to end the Russian invasion, unnamed sources told Bloomberg.
European allies generally agree with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that US troops' involvement in any future peacekeeping forces in Ukraine would be essential to ensure credibility of such effort, the sources added.
