EU announces €148 million of new humanitarian aid for Ukraine

The European Union (EU) on Monday announced it will provide €140 million in fresh humanitarian aid to Ukraine and a further €8 million to Moldova to support Ukrainian refugees who have fled there.

The funding earmarked for Ukraine will be used to provide emergency assistance, including food, shelter, clean water, healthcare, and winter protection.
